Re: 2001 Southern Region Firefighters' Burn Relay

The Burn Foundation Board of Directors wishes to express a heartfelt thank you for your Departments support of $6,250 and participation in the Relay on June 2nd, 2001.

The Relay was very successful - by day end, $80,000 was recognized as support shown by Southern CA Firefighters!

The donations received enabled us to host our "16th Annual Summer Camp for Burn-Injured Children," in which 183 children were in attendance, as well as, continue to provide the many other needed services and programs throughout the year.

Please accept the enclosed posters as our thank you. It is our attempt at showing you our appreciation and letting others know that you have truly helped our Organization thrive.

We are very honored and proud of the support you have given us over the years.

Thank you!

Sincerely,

Lisa K. Powell, Executive Director

Ed Pickett, Relay Coordinator

Congratulations

"2001 Southern Region Firefighters’ Burn Relay"

participants for raising over $80,000.

This Relay is key in helping to provide much needed services as:

The " 16th Annual Summer Camp for Burn-Injured Children" program that witnessed

183 children having the time of their life. In September, it will help host 50 adult burn survivors

to a 3 day retreat, and in January, our "Young Adult Summit" program with 30 teens having

an opportunity to grow and recover emotionally and physically.
